PIMG is the PaulOS Image format. The standard extension used for it is PPF (PaulOS Picture File), because PIF could cause confusion.
At setting 0, no detail is lost. At higher details, compression artifacts, in the form of blockyness can appear.
Theoretically, in its current form, the format can achieve 16:1 compression.
